As a young lawyer, Frank had the privilege for several years to provide free legal services to homeless families at the Salvation Army Family Shelter in Kansas City. He developed empathy for and understanding of clients under extreme stress and helped provide workable legal solutions in seemingly impossible situations.
The ability to carefully listen to his clients and assist them with the full picture is also important in commercial bankruptcy, insolvency, and litigation. It is not enough to solve just the apparent problem if a larger one looms in the background. He works hard on behalf of clients to avoid unexpected pitfalls through careful planning with his clients from the beginning.
Frank has worked extensively with commercial creditors and debtors to aggressively protect their interests and to resolve their legal problems for over twenty five years inside and outside the state and federal courts throughout Missouri, Kansas and elsewhere. He joined the firm in 1995 to take advantage of its abundant resources for his clients.
At home, Frank is part of an active family of five including two sons and a daughter. Frank enjoys playing tennis, Scouting with his youngest son, attending family activities, and socializing with friends and neighbors. Frank continues his volunteering and leadership outside the office, having just completed a 4 year stint as a board member and, finally, president of his neighborhood country club.
Frank is a speaker and author for seminars covering bankruptcy, real estate and mechanics' lien issues.
